About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Patent Research Analyst with a strong background in patent infringement analysis, claim chart preparation, and patent-to-product mapping. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of patent law, technology landscapes, and product teardown analysis to support litigation, licensing, and competitive intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct infringement and evidence-of-use (EoU) studies by analyzing patents and comparing claims against products, standards, or competitor portfolios.
-Prepare claim charts that clearly map product features to patent claim elements.
-Perform technical literature reviews, prior art searches, and product specification analyses.
-Collaborate with IP attorneys, licensing teams, and technical experts to validate findings and develop strong infringement evidence packages.
-Identify potential infringing products and assess the strength and validity of patent claims.
-Support patent litigation, out-licensing, and monetization projects through data-driven insights.
-Maintain and update internal IP databases and documentation related to claim charting and infringement studies.
– Prepare and present technical and analytical reports for internal stakeholders or clients.
Requirements & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication only.
– 2+ years of experience in patent research, infringement, or intellectual property analysis.
– Proficiency in patent search tools.
– Strong understanding of patent law, filing procedures, and IP regulation.
– Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
– Ability to communicate complex patent concepts in a clear and concise manner.
– Experience with patent landscaping, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analysis, and validity assessments.
