About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in the Intellectual Property (IP) domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in client acquisition, team management, and lead generation—particularly for the US market. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans focused on the US market.
- Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation techniques.
- Leverage existing relationships and build new ones within the IP, legal, and innovation communities.
- Handle end-to-end sales processes—from initial outreach to closing deals.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development executives.
- Track sales metrics, provide reports to senior management, and maintain CRM tools with accurate data.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the Intellectual Property (IP) domain.
- Proven team leadership experience, with the ability to guide, motivate, and manage performance.
- Strong understanding of IP services (e.g., patent search, patent analytics, prosecution, litigation support, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with IP software platforms and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Demonstrated success in scaling client accounts and increasing market share.
